At Stonewall Wesleyan, we aim to foster likemindedness and unity within our diverse community. One of the ways we are able to do that is through our weekly time of praise.
How does it work?
So here's the deal. We have many within our community who love to praise God with the newest modern worship music, in a flexible environment of posture and expression. Then there are others who find traditional music, responsive readings and times of liturgy meaningful. And of course, there are plenty who love both. From week to week we utilize a team of praise leaders with various backgrounds, and styles who assist the church community in experiencing each of the different elements and types of praise that lend meaning to each of our lives of worship.
The Praise Launch- 10:30 A.M.
We start off our Celebration Service each week with a time of praise that incorporates music, prayer, and other creative worship elements to inspire and uplift hearts as we praise God. You will have the opportunity to spend about 25 minutes in praise, prayer and reflection as you stand, sit, lift your hands, bow your knees, and express your love to God in whatever manner you feel led!
Diving into the word
We believe that the study of God's Word is a natural outflow to our time of praise. It is a unified time of teaching practical, applicable, and understandable Biblical principles for all generations and walks of life.
Closing in Fellowship
When the final song is sung, and the final prayer has been given, our worship continues with our time of fellowship together. Take a few moments to get to know other members of the church community deeper. Share life experiences, upcoming challenges, and celebrations of God's faithfulness as you grow in relationship with those around you.
