Odeo - A great alternative to iTunes
The term "podcasting" is a collusion of the acronym "POD" (portable-on-demand) and "cast," referring to the act of syndication. In a nutshell, podcasting is a way to syndicate audio and video material across the web for others to download and enjoy.
