Pastor Chip Monck
The Moncks have served as the pastoral family of Stonewall Wesleyan Church since January of 2004. Prior to arriving at SWC, Chip and Debbie were on staff with Athletes in Action, the sport ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. The Moncks love life in the Bluegrass, and have a deep seated love and passion for the city of Lexington.
Chip began his pastoral career while at Asbury Theological Seminary in the early 90s. Following his education, Chip spent seven years in the corporate world with the National Claims Organization of Nationwide Insurance. In 2002, God called the Monck family back to full-time ministry.
The Monck household includes son Jamie (13), daughter Allie (10), and CJ, the family beagle (7). The family enjoys sports, music, camping and geo-caching together.

Joel Watson - Modern Praise Leader
Joel provides leadership and direction for the Modern Praise time of our Celebration Service each week, as well as technical support of Stonewall Wesleyan's website. A recent graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary, Joel, his wife Brooke, and daughter Ashlyn live in Nicholasville, KY.

Dr. David Thompson - Vice Chair/Director of Discipleship
Dr. Thompson ministers to the SWC family as the Vice Chair of the Local Board of Administration, the Director of Discipleship, and plays bass for the SWC Praise Team. Dave and his wife Ede reside in Wilmore, KY, and are the proud parents of two daughters, one son, and a handsome grandson!
Jeannie Stivers - Church Treasurer
Jeannie ministers to the SWC family as the Church Treasurer, Pre-School Sunday School Teacher, and a vocalist for the SWC Praise Team. Jeannie and her husband Derrick are native Kentuckians, residing in Lexington. They have two young sons, Logan and Lukas.
Ed Frank - Director of Evangelism and World Missions
Ed ministers to the SWC family as the Director of Evangelism and World Missions. Ed is an M.Div. student at Asbury Theological Seminary, provides lay support to a number of SWC ministries, and resides with his wife Michele, and daughters Jazmin and Kara in Wilmore, KY.
Cara Parsons - Director of Fellowship
Cara is in her third year as SWC Director of Fellowship. She also ministers at SWC through multiple avenues including Nursery Ministries, and leadership support for the SWC Youth Group. Cara, her husband Rusty, and their daughter Brianna, live in Lexington.
Jason Shambach - Director of Ministry
Jason is the husband of Daniella and a soon to be father. He works in Lexington while studying as a student at Asbury Theological Seminary, completing a M.Div. degree. Jason desires to teach theology in eastern or southern Africa, along with working towards a doctorate in systematic theology. One of Jason's great passions is for taking care of the Lord's Creation.
Daniella Shambach - Kidz’ Zone Ministry Director
Daniella ministers to the SWC family as the Director of Kidz' Zone Ministry. She is currently working on her MA in Special Education at Asbury College. Raised in rural northern New Jersey, Daniella has a passion for working with children, which she hopes to continue to pursue on the mission field one day. Daniella and her husband Jason currently reside in Wilmore, KY.
Joel Kelly - Youth Ministries
Joel provides ministry leadership to the StoneBridge youth group, a joint ministry of Stonewall Wesleyan Church and LifeBridge Church. A native of Michigan, Joel is currently attending Asbury Theological Seminary. Joel is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with a degree in Youth Ministries, and is excited to see how God will move at Stonewall Wesleyan in the coming years.
Karen Wells - Director of Worship
Karen currently serves on the SWC praise team while also assisting her husband as a co-teacher in Kidz’ Zone. Karen desires to see children, youth, and young adults grow deeper in their understanding and relationship with Christ. Prior to coming to SWC, Karen served in ministry as a Children & Youth Pastor. She resides in Wilmore, KY, with her husband Joe.
Dr. Phil Perkins - Trustee Representative to the LBA
Phil is a professor with the Adult Education Programs of Indiana Wesleyan University located in Louisville, Lexington and on-line. Phil has been involved with leadership at SWC for approximately 10 years, and makes his home in Lexington with his wife Peggy, a teacher at the Lexington Christian Academy.
